Thrustmaster has launched the T-Strap Charger NW, which replaces both the need for hundreds of AA batteries and chunky recharging systems.

In the pack comes a replacement battery compartment for the Wii remote, which contains two rechargable batteries, and a replacement wrist strap which features the USB charging dongle that when out of use is encased in a mini plastic capsule.

Once you've fitted these things onto your Wii remote, all you need to do to charge it is open up the plastic capsule and connect one USB connector to the Wii remote battery pack and the other to the Wii console. Easy stuff.

The T-Strap Charger NW is available now for £7.99.
