Sony to bring real rewards to Trophy system?

Dedicated gamers could get early access to betas

Sony's Trophy system could soon bring you more than just kudos from fellow gamers, if reports from the Official PlayStation Magazine are to be believed.

Although Sony's system may not be as advanced as Microsoft's Achievements, Sony has apparently come up with the idea of actually rewarding gamers who earn some of the harder to capture trophies in an attempt to swing the balance in its favour.

The article reads: "We've heard that SCEA is mulling over some sort of Trophy reward system.

"We doubt it'll be cash (or the equivalent), but we suspect it might be exclusive access to early betas and the like."
