Microsoft has once more brought its gaming and music worlds together, with the introduction of this special edition Gears of War 2 120GB Zune.

The black glossy MP3 players gets a Gears logo added to its back, and also has the game's soundtrack, a number of special videos and an artwork collection that can be used for the Zune's background pre-loaded onto it as well.

The move mirrors the company's Halo-themed Zune released last year.

The player will be a limited edition model, raising the price slightly in the States and Canada from $249 to $279 (around £140), and will be available from November 7th when Gears 2 is released in stores.

American and Canadian gamers will be able to start pre-ordering the player from 2nd October, but there's no news on European releases as yet.
