Age of Booty dated for mid-October release

But European PSN date still unsure

Capcom's pirate-themed strategy game, Age of Booty, is set for release on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC by the middle of October.

Xbox gamers will be the first to get it on the 15th October, with the PSN having it for download from the 16th. The only news on the PC version is that it will be released "shortly after" that on Metaboli, Steam and a number of other download services.

If you're unsure if Age of Booty will be for you, demos will be made available at the same time as the full versions. However, if rumours are to be believed, the full version is only likely to set you back $10 (around a fiver), or 800 Microsoft Points for those using XBLA.

The only question left remaining is whether Europe will see the title on PSN at the same time as the US, as previous Capcom PSN titles have been delayed while they are translated into various European languages.

So far Capcom hasn't had an answer to the question, so it seems that's a case of watch this space.
