Pro Evo Soccer fans can get a sneak peek at the game's 2009 installment ahead of its official release on 17th October.

A playable demo of PES 2009 for will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on 2nd October, which will offer a full five-minute Exhibition multiplayer match.

Players will be able to select fully licensed Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona club teams, or the licensed Italian or French national sides.

The demo will show off new elements to the 2009 edition, which includes all new visuals with remodelled players and animations, as well as new physics routines for more realistic ball movement.

It will also include promotional videos that include information on the new game's "Become a Legend" and online "Legends" modes, which will see players controlling just one player within a team.

Starting out as a 17-year-old, players will be aiming to forge a career in football through good performances and first team appearances. Good performances will see you moving up to some of Europe's biggest sides, while poor performances will see you struggling in lower leagues, eventually getting released.

You'll have to wait for the full release to give that a go, but to get a feel for the game, look out for the demo at the end of this week.
