PS3 Home to launch end of October?

Home manager suggests release with next PS3 firmware update

Sony's much-delayed, highly-anticipated Home for PS3 could be finally set for launch at the end of October, if reports on the internet are to be believed.

The Home beta message board is what has started the rumours, when Home Manager "TedTheDog" left a post to say that PS3 freezes and Network issues that some Home beta users have reported would be fixed with the release of PS3 firmware 2.50.

He said: "2.5 is what we're waiting for and 'October' is what I've heard, later October is my guess."

It later said that Home 1.0 would launch alongside the new firmware update.

There's been no official word from Sony since, but we'll be keeping our ears to the ground and let you know anything we hear.
