New slimmer PS2 not heading to UK

But America and Europe get the pleasure

Although it has seen a release in America and some parts of Europe, Sony has confirmed that there are no plans to release the new super-slim PS2 console in the UK.

The new model is slightly smaller and thinner than the slimline version we all know and love, plus it doesn't come with an AC adapter.

But it seems it's not even worth putting on the backburner in hope we see it in a few months. A spokesperson stated: "We won't be releasing the new model PS2 in the UK." We think that's pretty clear.

However, the spokesperson added: "It has launched in a few SCEE territories already." Jusr rub it in why don't you.
