PS3 firmware update to add screengrab function?

Not the most exciting of additions

So it's not exactly the trophies of Sony's last PlayStation firmware update, but apparently the next upgrade - version 2.5 - is going to bring us the ability to take screenshots.

Oh yes, that feature you've just been screaming out for is rumoured to be on its way. Its purpose is no doubt for people to show off how far they've got in a game with their friends. We reckon it will probably be a button pressing combo in order to get your screenshot, but that remains to be seen.

Of course this is all still rumour at the moment, we'll let you know when we get wind of anything solid.
