Take Two and EA in secret talks

We won't hear anything until a decision is made

It seems the Take Two/EA saga continues, as news has come out that the two companies have both signed a confidentiality agreement that will see any possible takeover kept firmly under wraps until the deal is complete.

EA has extended its bid for Take Two five times since February, but more recently has said it would let its current offer expire and go about private talks with the company instead.

A regulatory filing by EA with the US Securities and Exchange Commission said: "EA does not intend to make any further announcements regarding the status of any discussions or negotiations with Take Two unless and until discussions between EA and Take Two have been terminated or such parties have entered into a transaction."

So there you have it.
