Cryptic Studios gave fans a sneak peek at what to expect from the new MMO game based on the popular sci-fi TV series.
Whatsmore, fans got an extra treat when the trailer was introduced by Leonard Nimoy, the actor who played Spock in the original television episodes.
The game, set in the year 2409, will see gamers playing as a Federation or Klingon captain, as they command and outfit ships, explore new planets and fight - both other ships and on foot in person.
According to the official site, the video is made up entirely of in-engine gameplay footage, so what you see is what you'll get. Looks pretty impressive to us.
