Samsung has announced at PMA the launch of a new small and compact A 4 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom - the U-CA 401 ultra compact digital camera.

The unit, which is shaped and styled similar to the Casio Exilim, Pentax Option S4 and the Sony T5 is sleek, compact and ultra thin (96.7mm x 60mm x 15mm).

The camera features a 1.5” TFT LCD screen, 32MB of internal flash memory and a Sony Memory Stick Duo card slot. The camera has the ability to record video at up to 30 frames-per-second with audio at 320x240 dpi.

Those looking for a degree of control can change the flash, white balance ISO (100 - 400) and pre-programmed settings to suit the situation. UK pricing is yet to be set
