Gamers waiting on Resistance 2 will be pleased to know that the public multiplayer beta for the PS3 will be extended to "all territories".

The demo was originally announced as an exclusive part of PSN's downloadable Qore TV show, which is only available in North America.

However, Insomniac has reassured fans that this will not be the only way to get their hands on it.

"For all of you folks outside of North America are up in arms because Qore is NA only, please don't worry," the statement said.

"This is one of many ways to get in, and we plan to make the beta available in all territories, as we need to test all servers and worldwide play. Further details on how to get into the beta will be forthcoming."

As for when the beta will be available - Qore labelling suggests it is scheduled for September. Whether this will be the same across all territories remains to be seen.
