Same release date as America

So it seems Gran Turismo TV, Polyphony and Sony's TV content service for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, will get a release in Europe at the same time as it does in the States.

This was annonced as August 1st at Sony's E3 press conference, so there's not much longer to wait.

The service, which is already released in Japan, lets users download and watch racing competitions and motoring programmes like Top Gear - some for free, some at a cost.

"The prices for the GT TV offerings will be announced within the next two weeks," SCEE president David Reeves said at an event in Santa Monica today.

There will also be exclusive video content, such as that of GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi touring the Ferrari factory. If that'll interest you.
