Tops charts in Germany and Sweden, second in UK

Recently released MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures seems to be going strength to strength with its sales figures, and may just be living up to the press releases Funcom has put out about it.

The latest German and Swedish games charts show that fantasy RPG has knocked Grand Theft Auto IV from its throne in both countries.

This follows news that Age of Conan has snuck up to second place behind GTA IV, but ahead of Haze, in the UK charts. This makes it the biggest PC game launch of year so far in Britain.

It seems that it is now safe to say that Age of Conan is the biggest MMO PC release since the World of Warcraft.

In the past few weeks, Funcom has announced that the game had smashed PC pre-order records and had over 400,000 sign on to play in the first week.
