A French website claims to have uncovered something fishy in the new European Xbox 360 bundles.The website, Logic-Sunrise, claims to have found hardware in the new consoles that dates back to the days before the Red Ring of Death-combatting Falcon motherboard.
It points to finding Hitachi 47 DVD drives in the machines and white labels representing the after-sales guarantee, rather than a silver ones, as proof for these claims.
A forum poster also added their experience to the debate, stating they had bought a new bundle only to find there was no HDMI port on the console, and also that there was blood and pencil marks down the side. There were no picture submitted to support this though.
Microsoft have so far made no comment.
