Sony announces three new models to the Clié range, the PEG-TH55 (£300), PEG-TJ37 (£199), and PEG-TJ27 (£119)

For those will to stay connected, both the PEG-TH55 and TJ37 offer Bluetooth, Wi-fi 802.11b, Memory Stick Pro slots and USB2.0 connectivity. A 310,000 pixel digital camera gives users the chance to capture images on the move and the built in voice recorder means this unit can double up as a recording unit for meetings.

For your extra £100 the TH55 offers a flip cover protector, higher screen resolution and Sony's new organiser software - Clié Organizer.

Those on a budget will be better suited to the TJ27 - Sony's new entry-level unit. As you would expect, options are limited due to price and connectivity can be found in the guise of a Memory Stick Pro slot and USB2.0. The Clié is not without a built-in digital camera (the same spec as the TH55 and TJ37) and allows you to capture JPEG images at resolutions up to 640x480 pixels. Sony's trademark Jog Dial is still present, but the Clié PEG-TJ27 lacks the other models' MP3 playback facility.

All three units run on Palm's OS 5.2 and all are available now.
