Xbox 360 has been announced as the official music partner to the new Ibiza Rocks Hotel.

This summer will see some of the UK's hottest bands and DJ's playing sets at the re-launched hotel, named after the event that brought live music to the dance capital of the world for the first time three years ago.

It all kicks off this year with a live gig from The Enemy on May 31st.

Other acts headlining over the summer include The Pigeon Detectives, The Wombats, The Fratellis, We Are Scientists, Reverend and the Makers, Soulwax/2ManyDJ's and Pendulum.

When they aren't listening to the live acts, guests at the hotel will also be able to get their Xbox fix with Xbox 360 kiosks and comfy sofas scattered around the hotel.

And for those who can't make it out of their rooms after a particularly heavy night, there will also be a concierge service available where the Xbox team will set up complimentary consoles and games in guest's rooms. Nice touch.

Xbox's involvement with Ibiza Rocks Hotel marks a summer of music activity covering music festivals, exclusive gigs and special events to celebrate the fact that players can download music and movies on Xbox Live.

Commenting on the partnership, Alex Weller, Xbox brand experience manager said: "We're delighted to be working with such a credible partner as Ibiza Rocks Hotel.

"We saw massive crossover in their audience with ours, and as we focus more on music and entertainment as a whole, it's a perfect fit for us which will enable people to connect to the things they love most - music, gaming, and having fun."
