Motorola, is to turn its popular RAZR V3i handset into the most chaviest phone ever with the announcement that it will be releasing 1000 limited edition handsets not in pink, blue or green, but gold.

Available exclusively at Dolce & Gabbana boutiques worldwide the handset will go on sale later this month in time for Christmas.

Like its predecessors, it features the famous RAZR slim shape, premium metallic finish and advanced technology such as photo messaging and Bluetooth connectivity.

Since the launch of the silver handset in 2004, Motorola has systematically offered exclusive colours to customers.

In March this year, it gave all the winners and announcers of the Oscar Awards ceremony an exclusive black version. Eventually due to popular demand this was made available to the public.

Recently the company launched a pink and blue version in both the UK and the US.

Details on the gold version of the V3i are still sketchy, but we will keep you posted.
