As followers of Fry's Twitter feed will already know, the entertainer is due to deliver a talk at Apple's Regent Street store - although Apple are no doubt hoping that not all of his 60,000 followers turn up.Stephen Fry's appearance, on 2 February, will be part of the iTunes "Meet the Author" series for a discussion of his latest audiobook, "A Selection of Oscar Wilde's Short Stories", as well as to "expound on technology and his creative efforts".
Fry is a long-time Apple fan, describing himself as the second person in the UK to own a Mac - after Douglas Adams.
Customers are advised to arrive early for the 7pm event as access is limited and for those that don't make it through the doors - the talk will be made available as an iTunes podcast.
UPDATE: This appearance has been postponed due to the snowy weather. Fry Twittered the news with: “Apple Event in Regent Street is off. Tentative attempt to rearrange for tomorrow but aware that forecast not good. Will keep you posted x”. Hardware, Apple, Stephen Fry, iTunes, Audio, Twitter, Podcasts
