Sony is set to release four new coloured PSPs in Japan, it has been revealed.
Despite constant whisperings that Sony is working on a new PSP model, the four brightly-coloured PSP-3000s are set for a staggered release in March.
First up on 5 March are the Vibrant Blue and Radiant Red colours, followed by Bright Yellow and Spirited Green on 19 March.
All four "Carnival Colour" PSPs will be priced at 19,800 yen each (around £160), or gamers will be able to pick up a Carnival Colours Value Pack for 24,800 yen, including a brightly coloured PSP, Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB, AC Adapter, battery, strap and matching colour pouch.
There's been no news on if we can expect to see a European release for these colours, but chances are if they sell well in Japan, Sony will think about a worldwide release. We'll keep you updated on anything we hear.
