Vodafone has added six more channels to its UK TV Mobile offering bringing the total number of channels to 26.

Although the company has signed a deal with Sky in the UK, the six new channels will be available globally to all Vodafone customers.

From today, 3G customers will be able to access shows like "Sex and the City" and "Six Feet Under" from HBO which will show in 90 minute loops, 24 hours a day.

Additional channels to be available will be Eurosport, MTV, Specially edited for mobile, Seasons 1-4 of "24", featuring Kiefer Sutherland, from Twentieth Century Fox Television, UEFA Champions League and the Discovery channel.

In the UK customers will be able to view the new channels free for the first 3 months and then they will become apart of the Variety channel package charged at £5 per month.

This globally sourced content, which works on any Vodafone live! with 3G enabled handset, will complement the existing domestic Mobile TV offerings already available in eight of Vodafone's operating countries - Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain and the UK - three associate networks - Belgium, France and Switzerland - and one partner network - Austria.
