Up until the 2 March Carphone Warehouse is offering 12 months free broadband, possibly to ease the effects of the economic downturn on consumers. So for today's Daily Tech Deal we thought it would be a good idea to give you a run down on what you'd be getting for your money if you did sign up.
The service will require you to sign up for an 18 month contract where you will need to pay £10.50 a month for line rental which will then go up, after 12 months, to £16.99 for the last 6 months (so essentially £6.49 for the broadband).
Be aware however that there is a £29.99 connection fee and only 80% of the country is covered, so it is possible the offer may not be available to you.
The package includes inclusive evening and weekend calls, plus free calls to 36 international destinations.
The connection itself offers up to 8Mbps ADSL broadband with 40GB download allowance and a free wireless router thrown in.
There is a link to the Carphone website below as well as one to Broadband Choices that gives you a run down of some of the best deals to be had at the moment. Phones, Carphone Warehouse, Daily Tech Deal, Broadband, Tariffs, Software
