The HP Mini 2140, launched recently at CES with a US price tag of $500, will have a UK price from £379 HP has confirmed to Pocket-lint.The netbook is apparently aimed at the business and education sectors, although we can't see why it wouldn't appeal to anyone interested in a small format notebook.
With a 10.1-inch, 16:9 display, it will come in a 1024 x 576 resolution, although there will be the option to upgrade to 1366 x 768.
Other specs look fairly typical for netbooks: a Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, up to 2GB RAM, with the option of a 160GB HDD, or 80GB SSD.
It will weigh 1.19kg, making it highly portable, but with the benefit of a 92% size keyboard.
If you are tempted, you should be able to get your hands on it in February. Hardware, Laptops, Netbooks, HP
