Facebook for iPhone gets 2.1 update

Less crashes promised

19 January 2009 13:04 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Facebook for iPhone got an update earlier this month that sees the app released as version 2.1.

The changes for the updated version are mainly bug fixes with fewer crashes promised.

In addition, timestamps are now correct for all timezones, long inbox threads are said to load faster and friend duplicates will no longer appear.

The Facebook for iPhone and iPod touch application is available now, to download for free, from the iTunes App Store.
