Daily Tech Deal: HTC Shift

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

Friday has come and with it another Daily Tech Deal. Today we've got the HTC shift, a mini laptop that can be used like a tablet PC or opened up, revealing a full QWERTY keyboard, and used like a normal laptop - albeit a very small one.

The HTC Shift is available from eXpansys for £499.99 down from its normal price of £949.99. We've looked around and this seems to be the best price to be had at the moment.

The Shift runs Vista, supports 3G and Wi-Fi and is Bluetooth enabled. There is also a 40GB hard drive, a built-in fingerprint sensor and USB 2.0 connectivity.

In addition, it boasts an Intel low-power 800 MHz processor, 1GB RAM and a 7-inch colour touchscreen.

Admittedly this is quite a niche product, but its 2 day standby battery life and instant email access with Microsoft Direct Push technology means this is possibly worth considering if you're in the market for a portable device.

To get the full discount you will need to click on the link below since the offer is not available through the eXpansys site.
