Sharp has launched the slimline AQUOS Blu-ray disc player, BD-HP22U, that provides Full HD 1080p digital output.The player supports Profile 2.0, BD-Live, that provides interactive features through an internet connection and its 2GB of USB memory.
In addition to the BD-Live, the BD-HP22U gets advanced audio decoding, AQUOS Pure Mode, and lower power consumption, quick start and a JPEG viewer.
The BD-HP22U boasts HDMI 1.3 digital output with x.v. colour, and 1920 x 1080 video at 24 frames per second output.
The player outputs advanced sound formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio via HDMI and also decodes Dolby Digital Plus.
