CES 2009: Palm VP says Brits aren't to be shunned

Palm has confirmed that it will be bringing the Palm Pre, announced at CES in Las Vegas, to the UK.

"The Pre will indeed be available in H2 [2nd half] within the UK and selected European markets", Paul Ghent, vice president of sales for Palm Europe told Pocket-lint.

The news will be welcomed to users looking to get their hands on the new device that sports Palms new platform webOS.

Palm has promised more specific information about the UK launch at Mobile World Congress in February.
