Vuzix has announced a new addition to its video eyewear range - the Wrap 920AV and we've managed to get a quick hands-on at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The "stylish" Wrap 920AV functions with any media playing device with a video output and projects a virtual 60-inch screen, as viewed from 9 feet.

The glasses claim up to 6 hours of battery life on two AA batteries and will be available from spring 2009.

Interestingly to cater for users who wear glasses you will be able to get a prescription inset so you can see where you are going.

The glasses will come in two variations either with clear glass or blacked out glass.
