Sony has launched new music systems and a clock radio that work with iPods and iPhones.

The Walkman-maker, that's debuting a touchscreen MP3 player at this year's CES, has announced the "Made for iPod" certified systems.

This new compact music system is the first Sony iPod-ready stereo to feature a stylish vertical design, following the trend toward slimmer, smaller music playback devices.

The CMT-LX20i system is a single disc CD player with audio-in jack, an AM/FM tuner with the iPod menu features accessed with the included remote control. The CMT-LX20i micro shelf system will be available in March for about $100.

The Sony MHC-EC99i mini HiFi system gets both an iPod dock and dedicated iPod button - with charge, play and control functions. As a single disc CD player, it offers audio-in, an AM/FM tuner, alarm clock functions, two front speakers and a dedicated subwoofer. The system will be available in March for about $200.

The LBT-ZX66i and LBT-ZX99i systems are the latest additions to Sony's "Muteki" (apparently pronounced "moo-techy") line of audio shelf systems and offer big sounds with a bold design from $450.

Lastly there's an iPod/iPhone clock in the form of the cute little ICF-C7iP clock radio that gets a sliding dock tray for iPod and iPhone devices. The rotund ICF-C7iP clock radio will be available in April for about $70.
