  • This is just a pricey toy. Heaven knows what processor or memory it has to run Vista, but there are far mor useful offerings from the likes of HP that might actually make it possible for these little things to be productive on the move Posted by Pete Dawson, UK
  • With a price like that Sony have got to be joking. Maybe I can get one once interest rates hit 0%. Posted by K Tang, UK
  • so for £1300 you can get a sony vaio notebook, or the macbook air....

  • It's beautiful!!! HOWEVER, why is it that in the USA it^'s 800 bucks, whereas here in the UK it's 800 pounds?!?!?!
This is a joke, there's absolutely no reason to charge more than twice the amount!
    WHAT A JOKE SONY IS!
We'll all get it shipped direct Japan, and it will still cost cheaper than buying it from the UK...

  • No trackpad, no built-in 3G, neither XP nor Linux and yours for the same price as 3 netbooks from any other manufacturer, now let me think about it........

    er no!

  • You do realise that the tracking stick is waaaaaaaay better than a trackpad, it does have 3G, Linux is FREE and you can install it yourself, the screen is ridiculously hi-res for a netbook, it's the smallest and lightest netbook there is, and it has a f***ing express card slot, right?
