CES 2009: Rugged and HDMI-ed

8 January 2009 6:05 GMT / By Stuart Miles
Following the launch of the Kodak Zx1 camcorder on Monday we managed to get some hands on time with the update to the Zi6.
Sporting a new rugged design the Zx1 still offers 720p HD quality recording footage, adds a HDMI socket, but loses the pop out USB connector.
To capture all your content, there is a SD/SDHC card slot for memory cards of up to 32GB, meaning you can record up to 10 hours of HD video, then play it back on your HDTV with the included HDMI cable.
