Sony has launched a netbook at CES and Pocket-lint was there to grab a quick hands-on photo gallery.

The new model will cost $900, weight just under 1kg (640g) and feature the usual array of Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth but interestingly GPS connectivity.

The 8-inch (1600 x 768) 8-inch X-Black LCD screen with power efficient LED netbook will be available in red, emerald green, onyx black, white and classic black.

  • I think it's really interesting that Sony has opted for the full size keyboard and sacrificed a trackpad to keep the size to a minimum, but what are you to do if you haven't got a spare bit of table top to work with a mouse. My experience of nipples in the past, computer not female, is that they are always difficult to control. I always seem to overshoot my destination. Still, no I am not a Mac fanboy, it will be interesting to see what Apple does, if anything to compete. It might look like a clutch bag, but I like it. Posted by Ahmed, England
