Sony's touchscreen Walkman leaked

CES 2009: Rumours were true as NWZ-X100 arrives early to the party

7 January 2009 17:16 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Well, it seems the rumours were correct and Sony is very much planning to a launch a touchscreen Walkman, the NWZ-X1000.

Leaked before its official launch, while you ponder whatever made Sony want to go down the touch route, note the 3-inch OLED display, Wi-Fi and built-in noise cancellation.

Available in 16GB and 32GB, what will be really interesting is little details like format support, pricing and availability.

Just a leak at this early stage, check back later (in the wee hours of Thursday morning) for Pocket-lint's coverage of Sony's CES press conference that should mention the new gizmo.
