7 January 2009 11:50 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Hitachi has announced what it plans to unveil at this year's CES show under their "Style-Unlimited" theme.

As well as new models available to consumers, Hitachi will showcase a 50-inch ultra thin 35mm plasma TV prototype and the next generation, even thinner 15mm ultra thin 37-inch LCD display prototype with RGB LED back-light.

The company's DZ-BD10HA Blu-ray camcorder will also get demoed at the show. The camcorder features the ability to record onto Blu-ray, its hard drive and to SDHC cards.

Other exhibits will include the short-throw networked CP-A100 3LCD projector, a gesture controlled interface for television, and "Super-Resolution" upscaling technology to create high definition images of various resolutions.

Pocket-lint will aim to bring you more from Hitachi's CES stand later this week.
