Western Digital has launched two new external hard drives designed specifically for the Mac on Tuesday at the start of Macworld 2009 in San Francisco.The My Passport for Mac portable drive and the My Book Mac Edition external hard drive will come pre-formatted for Mac and offer USB connectivity as the industry slowly moves away from Firewire.
My Passport for Mac will be available in capacities of 320GB and 500GB while the new My Book Mac Edition drives will sport 1TB capacity.
My Passport for Mac portable hard drives and My Book Mac Edition 1TB external hard drives are available now. The 320GB drive is £79.00 while the 500GB offering is £90.00. The 1TB hard drive is £102. Hardware, Storage, Western Digital, Macworld2009
