3M to launch MM200 pico projector
CES 2009: Promises "evolutionary leap"

3M has announced it will unveil the MM200 at this week's CES show, a new design in the company's miniature projection portfolio.
Claiming to offer brilliant colour and VGA resolution with a thin profile, 3M says the MM200 represents an "evolutionary leap" in mobile projection technology.
In a mobile, handheld accessory or digital camera, the MM200 engine can project up to a 50-inch image while drawing only 1 watt of power.
3M says the MM200 uses an advanced liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) electronic imager and is illuminated with multi-coloured light emitting diodes.
Products featuring the MM200 engine will be available for consumer purchase in 2009.
