Lenovo's dual-screen ThinkPad, the W700ds, has finally been priced and dated for launch in Great Britain.

UK pricing for the ThinkPad W700ds starts at a whopping £3459 and is available now - for those that can afford it.

Described as a mobile workstation, the W700ds has a WUXGA 17-inch screen with 400 nits of brightness and a 10.6-inch secondary screen that can be tilted up to 30 degrees.

The new ThinkPad will be offered with a choice of quad-core Intel Core 2 processors and Nvidia graphics. There's also the option of up to 8GB RAM, and up to 960GB of SSD/HDD storage.

The W700ds is also available in the States now with pricing starting at $3663 which works out at around £2525 - a fair difference to the UK's price tag.
