Paper-free products

Plustek has revealed it will be showing off a full line of new products at the CES show in Las Vegas.

With a New Year goal "to change the way consumers treat paper to make a difference in the ecology of the earth", the products avoid paper waste.

New launches include film scanners that can help to create "eco-friendly digital albums" and book scanners that mean photocopied pages are a thing of the past.

Plustek will also be demoing the BookReader V100 that converts text into the MP3 audio format to listen to anywhere, as well as the MobileOffice D600, a mobile scanner that can cope with scanning items that have been laminated, such as ID cards.
