The speculation continues over the state of Steve Jobs' health as Gizmodo quotes a source stating that it is "rapidly declining".Although the subject of scrutiny for some time, the recent event that triggered the latest burst of speculation was the news that Jobs would not deliver his once customary keynote speech at January's Macworld event.
Despite this Apple denying it, with analysts chiming in to say the decision was political, not personal, Apple is being accused of "misleading" about the reasons behind the decision.
Gizmodo quotes an anonymous Apple source, that the blog says has been proved "100% correct" as far as news and images of unreleased Apple products goes. The source states:
"Steve's health is rapidly declining. Apple is choosing to remove the hype factor strategically vs letting the hype destroy apple when the inevitable news comes later this spring".
"This strategic loss will be less of a bang with investors. This is why Macworld is a no-go anymore. No more Steve means no more hype. Saying they are no longer needing [Macworld] is the cover designed by the worldwide 'loyalty' department". Biz, Apple, Steve Jobs, Rumours
