Panasonic has announced today the launch of the Panasonic VS6. The two megapixel camera phone has a 16 million colour display as well as the ability to take 15 shots in quick succession.

The VS6 includes the Bluetooth for transferring images to a printer or PC as well as a feature that allows you to judge the 'emotion' of a received message even before it's opened by the colour it shines. So for example, if an SMS message contains a smiley face, the phone will flash a warm red.

For gaming fans the mobile comes with Sonic the Hedgehog.

Hoping to take the Christmas rush by storm, Panasonic has teamed up with Carphone Warehouse to offer the 2 megapixel camera phone for £99.99 on pre-pay or free on contract.

In addition to the cheap price - currently the cheapest for a 2 megapixel camera, Carphone Warehouse is also offering a free Bluetooth photo printer with every handset until the end of December.
