LG is to launch a credible-looking phone watch at January's CES show, the Korean company has revealed.

Sounding similar to the concept product Pocket-lint brought you news of from the phone company's MWC stand earlier in 2008, the GD910 will be the first such HSDPA effort to debut.

With a 1.43-inch colour touchscreen, the tiny device will offer video conference capabilities with a video camera built into the watch's face.

In addition there will be MP3 file support, "Text To Speech" capabilities offering voice dialling with speech recognition and Bluetooth.

The watch is apparently due to launch in Europe as well as Korea - we'll bring you more as soon as we have it from the CES show floor.
