Hewlett Packard has teamed up with New York fashion designer Vivenne Tam, to design a special edition of its HP Mini 1000 notebook.

Available exclusively from Harrods, the notebook's design has been inspired by Vivienne Tam's famous "China Chic" style, and features a gloss red finish with peony flowers on its lid.

There are also coordinated wallpaper graphics and accessories, including a matching protective sleeve.

Described as a "digital clutch" and "the accessory" to be seen with at New York's Spring/Summer fashion show, the Vivienne Tam Edition is HP's first computer created by a designer, and is sure to attract the tech-savvy fashionista.

The notebook can be ordered from 5 January in store or online, and will be available in February for £449.
