Project Kangaroo tweaks plans for Competition Commission
Threatens to abandon venture

Project Kangaroo has volunteered to dump plans to jointly sell catch-up and archive shows to rivals, so that it can get regulator approval to launch.
ITV, BBC Worldwide and Channel 4 - the broadcasters involved in the venture - argue that by changing the plans it addresses the concerns that the Competition Commission raised.
ITV and Channel 4 would separately sell their prime catch-up TV content to third party online video providers and are prepared to also scrap plans to jointly sell archive TV programming, and have each partner set prices independently.
Project Kangaroo has rejected the other suggestions proposed by the Competition Commission and has said that it would abandon the joint venture if they were imposed.
