"On the 9th of January you will change the way you look at laptops. Forever".

So promises Sony's New Zealand website. Are we to finally see a Sony netbook? A MacBook Air rival? Something to do with Blu-ray? OLED? Touch?

Keep guessing and we'll bring you more nearer the time...

  • A touch enabled netbook, with another touch enabled screen where the keyboard should be. I say 'netbook' because mass producing touch enabled screens as default keyboards any bigger than that would be cost prohibitive at this time.

A dual screen netbook that's also a two page e-book via accelerometer. (Landscape/Portrait) That's my guess based on what I've seen and read around Sonys latest developments and that of their competitors.

It's also something that's just begging to be done given that all of the tech to do it is already in circulation in various other guises.
