In addition, O2 has introduced a "Pro" package for heavy consumer internet users and small businesses.

The O2 Home Broadband Pro package includes a router based on wireless 802.11n technology offering greater performance, better coverage, and improved reliability around the home or office.

Customers will also get download speeds of up to 20MB, upload speeds of up to 2.5MB (depending on location), an unlimited usage allowance and the option of a free static IP address.

The Pro package costs £17.13 for O2 mobile customers and £22.02 for non O2 mobile customers.

  • This would appear to make BT Broadband ridiculously over-priced these days... Posted by philbridges, United Kingdom
  • It actually starts at £7.34 for O2 customers on the 8Meg package. I am on it myself and found that it is 2Meg quicker than the equivelent BT bbroadband I was on as well as £15 cheaper. Posted by JJ Mclure, uk
