YouTube watched most during work hours

Online video viewing peaks between 9 and 5

Well, well, well. It appears that most online video in the States is watched between 9am and 5pm during the working week.

No doubt news that will prompt a lot more companies to block YouTube and similar, the data comes from statisticians Nielson Online.

It seems 65% of all online viewers use this "work time" to watch their favourite online videos, with a lot less - 51% - watching during this time on the weekend.

The time that sees the least amount of online video watching is weekend nights between 11pm and 6am.
