Apple Expo Paris cancelled for 2009

Au revoir to Europe's Macworld

17 December 2008 17:45 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Following the news that Steve Jobs will not deliver the keynote and it will be Apple's last San Fran Macworld in January, Reed Exhibitions will not hold an Apple Expo event in Paris in 2009.

Apple has not had a presence at the French show for some years, and in 2008 did not participate in the Paris expo at all, saying they were attending fewer trade shows.

The Macworld Expo organisers, IDG World Expo, has "vowed" to keep the San Francisco show going in the future despite Apple turning its back on the event.
