Cowon S9 on sale in UK for Christmas

Digital Audio Distribution has announced the launch of the Cowon S9 in the UK. Available in 8GB and 16GB models, the PMP will go on sale from 15 December - so in time for Christmas shopping sprees.

With a 16.9 million colour 3.3-inch AMOLED display, capacitive touchscreen, inbuilt G-Sensor, and Bluetooth for wireless earphones, the high-end offering will cost £169 or £199 depending on capacity.

Other specs include a 55-hour battery life for audio, 11 hours for video, a 58mW sound output, and support for MP3, WAV, WMV, FLAC, OGG, APE, AVI and WMV files.

The S9 will be available from Selfridges and www.amp3.co.uk, among others.
