Navevo has unveiled its new ProNav PNN-200 satnav solution for drivers of lorry and van drivers. The second-gen device with its 4.3-inch touchscreen ProNav PNN-200 claims to deliver new levels of performance and be easier to use with a revamped user interface and enhanced sound performance.
In addition, the unit offers an enhanced Routing-Engine with free quarterly map and transport data updates throughout 2009. The ProNav PNN-200 now also includes Bluetooth calling, a media player and e-book reader.
On the HGV side of things, the PNN-200 lets drivers enter their vehicles’ vital statistics, including weight, height, length, width and the goods they are carrying, to calculate the best route to ensure drivers are not confronted with roads or obstacles not suitable for their vehicle or cargo.
Maplin will be selling the ProNav PNN-200 in stores and online from 15 December 2008 priced at £199.99.
Existing ProNav customers can take advantage of the free quarterly map and transport updates as well as update their ProNav with the latest software enhancements free of charge via www.pronav.co.uk. Car And GPS, Navevo, GPS
