It seems Acer has beaten Asus to the netbook top slot in the third quarter of 2008, despite Asus having more model variants than you could shake a stick at.According to DisplaySearch's quarterly report, Acer achieved a market share of 38.3% versus Asus' 30.3%.
Acer shipped 2.15 million units of its Acer Aspire One to Asus' 1.7 million units of its various Eee PC models.
